I have just purchased the home at this address and need to replace the gas hot water heater. I was thinking of a tankless hot water heater, but I'm not sure if that's appropriate. If it would be possible to have someone come out to the house on Tuesday November 4 to look at the situation and give me an estimate, I'd appreciate it. I've left you my work number, I will be in and out all day at meetings, so email might be an easier way to contact me.

We bought a home in November 2013 that was built in 2004 and have had a high electric bill since. We had found a water leak, which contributed to some of the problem and was fixed, but we are wondering if perhaps our water heater/A/C equipment is old and faulty leading to an elevated bill. We also have a sunroom that we were thinking about having injection insulation placed between the walls and piping air into the room from our current duct work. We have an old house that the previous owners built additions on to. The additions either currently aren't under AC or have window units. We are interested in getting split systems installed to cool/heat these areas of the house. I have a few specific questions regarding the estimate: Are you able to remove and fill in the space where the old window units currently sit? Are you able to do any electrical work that might be needed to fully install the systems, including at the main circuit breaker (or at least identify what would need to be done)? Are you able to give an itemized estimate (cost of system, cost for any additional needed vent heads, cost of piping, electrical, labor, etc)? Thanks, Doug Livingston

I had a unit moved then later decided to get a new A/C unit I was told they would apply ever dollar I spent moving my old unit to a new one and that,s just what they did. Called them on a Friday morning for an issue I was having with my AC unit leaking water into my garage. Their service technician Corey was out several hours later. Corey was very polite, diagnosed and fixed the issue immediately, and only charged me the cost of the initial diagnostic fee. I could not be more pleased.

I have three young children, and it is the middle of August in Florida. Anyone who has been in Florida in August can understand how important the air conditioning is. Well, last night it stopped working. A friend was able to get it to come back on briefly which got us through the night, but it wouldn't get us any further. I called Mid Florida Heating & Air in the morning, and Quentin, their service technician, arrived in the afternoon. He had clearly had a long day, but got right to work diagnosing the problem. He encountered both indoor and outdoor units that were old and rusted, and when he took the first piece out, it literally broke in his hands. At this point, it was going on 7pm and things didn't look good. I had fully resigned myself to a hot and sticky night, or a visit to a hotel. But to my surprise and delight, Quentin kept going. He worked through three different problems, manufacturing a repair for the broken part on the spot. He was making progress, but after taking the outside unit apart and realizing there were some pieces that needed to be replaced, I was really sure we weren't going to get it all done today. I was wrong. My kids are now fast asleep and I'm sitting in my nice, cool home. Quentin worked until 9:30pm getting everything back together, cleaned up and working perfectly. The AC works better than it did before and we can all sleep soundly tonight. The final shocker came when I got the bill. Quentin rounded *down* on his invoice, charging me *less* than he should have for the time that it took. I have no doubt that the next time I need my air conditioning fixed, I will be calling Mid-Fla Heating & Air. They're the best.
